actually i think of one of three people usually–malcolm, george harrison, and rory gallagher. what i’m saying is that malcolm is one of the most well known gretsch users. he’s just among many many others. brian setzer has always used a gretcsh. chet atkins has (actually had–dead now) his own models. plus, you have to remember that you and i are just two people. there are other people who wouldn’t even think of malcolm.

i think most of the tone and sounds you are getting are coming from the line 6 amp. I mean if you demo a guitar you shouldn’t play it with an amp that was designed to sound like other famous tones

Actually a corvette is a small, maneuverable, lightly armed warship, originally smaller than a frigate and larger than a coastal patrol craft.
The name was used in the car and then in the guitar.
