    No worries, it’s a beautiful bass though. I’d have paid £600 for it, but got it for £200 because the guy in the store thought it was a V940!!

    I have this bass and just to add, it will not fit in a Warwick RockCase.

    It will fit any …
    It will fit any standard bass guitar case or gigbag, unless it’s moulded inside to fit a particular bass, ie precision or a stingray. I don’t know the case you mentioned, but as long as it is a fairly universal bass case there shouldn’t be a problem.

    Close, it’s a V1005SP (5 string) and V1004SPFL (fretless) for the spalted maple versions, and there is also a 5 string in the “tiger eye” quilted maple veneer, thats the V1005.

    Thanks for the kind comments loosedan01, yeah it is easy to play, and a great looker too. There is also a five string and a fretless model available now too!

    was lucky enough to …
    was lucky enough to try this bass at my music shop yesterday. very easy access to all frets on each string and a nice neck to play across.
    looks much nicer in real life to the video.
    and that is very nice cos it looks gorgeous anyway!
