Resurrection (Rez) Band vintage performance, early 80’s.
An early performance of Rez Band, circa somewhere between 1982-84. They performed in Puerto Rico a couple of times, the most remembered by me with Swiss Band Jerusalem in Palacio De Los Deportes, Mayaguez in 1983. This clip is part of a vhs promotional footage featuring a live performance of Rez Band during that time. Obviously, copyes of that tape were spreaded to promote those gigs in PR. Rez had a very important place within the origins of the Christian Hard Rock Music Movement and have been the preeminent example of how to evangelize using Christian rock. And obviously, they ROCK big time.
Glenn Kaiser - vocals, guitar, dulcimer, harmonica
Wendi Kaiser - vocals
Stu Heiss - guitar, keyboards
Jim Denton - bass guitar, keyboards(1974-1987)
Roy Montroy - bass guitar, keyboards(1987-2000)
John Herrin - drums
Duration : 0:10:1

Thankyou for posting this superb clip. Is this the earliest video recording of Rez live. Man did they rock that place. I just got the box set compilation. Probably the very best of the christian rock bands. Uncompromising in their message.

The first song is ” …
The first song is “City Streets” from the “Colours” lp. The second song is “Alienated” from the lp “Mommy Doesn’t Love Daddy Anymore.” I think the last song is called “The Chair” which is also on “MDLDAnymore”. I don’t have MDLDAnymore though so I am guessing. This as the title says early 80’s Rez material from the LIGHT record label days.
