I don’t really know much about Orpheum guitars. It’s American, from the 50’s or 60’s, and well made. Originally would have had Klusons and no pickup. Spruce top, checkered binding. Has an added 1960’s Dearmond pickup. Nice guitars, plays well.

I would take the Fender over the Paul, as you do metal. I prefer the Paul if it was more blues oreinted
Now this one is REALLY rare. The Dallas Tuxedo was the FIRST electric guitar made in Britain. The guitar was made out of a single piece of wood (neck through) and has various Vox/Burns/Fenton/Weil parts, (not to mention it had Italian made pots). Unfortunately the guitar in the video was painted red by someone, over the original white body which would have been bound in black and had a “Tuxedo” script logo on the top bout. Disregard the poor playing and sound quality.
A Dallas Tuxedo was found in John Lennon’s home as well.

I have to replace the strings on my guitar for the first time, but I don't want to have to get a set up so I'm going to stick to the same gauge strings. Can anyone tell me what gauge strings came with my Epiphone Vintage SG (electric guitar)?
10's are standard - you can go to 9's with only a little change in intonation. It's easy to adjust though, you should check anyway because it's not always right when shipped from the factory. With a tuner, check the note at the 12th fret with the open harmonic - if they aren't the same, adjust the bridge - towards the neck for sharp, towards the bridge for flat.
Right now I'm playing acoustic, and I'm a beginner, but I definitely want to get an electric guitar once I'm good enough. I've seen a couple really cool looking ones at vintage stores, but would getting a new one be better? Also, which brand is best?
Tough to say, exactly how "beginner" are you? A used squire strat was my first electric and it got the job done. However, I got jobbed on it, as I paid way too much for it. Look into pricings on new models and find whats available in your area. www.musiciansfriend.com will give you a great place to find any guitar out there and what it should cost. Also, if you decide to go with a new guitar, I would go with a brand called Schecter, very classic style, high end features, low end price. I think their models start around $200. I have the C-1 Classic ~$700 and its better than any $2000+ PRS, or Gibson I've ever played.
