Vintage Bass Guitars

I found a bass guitar that looks awsome but i dont know if i should save up for it this is what it is i just like volins and cello

Right now i have an ibanez bass signed by john oliva (i sorta like to brag a little cuz he signed it)

so is it worth saving up for???

I like the Hofner's. They are pretty cool for a retro sound. They respond really well to fast arpeggiations too.

Oh and who the heck is John Oliva?

This is me suppose to be practicing on my 6 string IBANEZ SR 506 but I found a nice patch on my YAMAHA MO6 and I had to jam with it for a little while. Oh I’ve been playing bass for 1 year and 2 month! I started playing AUGUST 28th 2007!

An early performance of Rez Band, circa somewhere between 1982-84. They performed in Puerto Rico a couple of times, the most remembered by me with Swiss Band Jerusalem in Palacio De Los Deportes, Mayaguez in 1983. This clip is part of a vhs promotional footage featuring a live performance of Rez Band during that time. Obviously, copyes of that tape were spreaded to promote those gigs in PR. Rez had a very important place within the origins of the Christian Hard Rock Music Movement and have been the preeminent example of how to evangelize using Christian rock. And obviously, they ROCK big time.

was purchased used in 1982,good condition/ solid wood with pearl inlays and all original knobs and pickups??

I was recently given a Gibson ES-125 and would love to keep it around for a while. Should I keep the strings on? Keep it dry or humid? What else needs to be done to maintain it?

If stored in its case I would loosen the strings a bit that way before you play it will be easier to clean any dust that is located around the pickups.

I do not know about this model but my DH has several guitars one of which is his grandfathers. On the wooden bodies he will periodically dust and wax it with bowling alley wax. Additionally too much humidity could possibly warp something which is not good but too dry can dry out the wood, you really want a happy medium. But dry is easier to counteract by inspecting your instrument and using an appropriate wood moisturizer or wax more often.

I want to buy a new electric guitar. I play mostly classic rock and clean stuff. Which guitar is best for me?
